I wanted to try to make a stylish hat that I can wear in the summer and that I can wash. Because I inserted teknorote (stiff cord) into the long brim portion, which blocks exposure from sunlight, the hat keeps its shape beautifully. I crocheted it with two strands of yarn held together. The design differs from the pattern in essentials, but I thought making it simply according to my personal style would be all the better. Pierrot Yarns’ lame yarn is also beautiful.

夏にかぶれる洗えるおしゃれな帽子を作りたくて作ってみました。
日差しをしっかりとふせげる長いブリム部分にはテクノロートを入れていますので
形も綺麗にキープできます。糸は２本どりで編みました。
デザインは編み図本来のものとは異なりましたが、私風にシンプルになって
かえってよかったかなと思っています。
ピエロさんの糸はラメも素敵ですね。
